Ep #165 – Why we struggle receiving help

Dirty_dishes_in_sink-01

Why is it that we as mamas and women struggle to ask for – and receive – help? Even if we have a wonderful partner, and a supportive community around us, many of us find it hard to share the load of motherhood.

Why?

Yes, it can sometimes be because underneath, we feel we should be doing it on our own.

And yes, it can sometimes be because we fear the judgement of asking for help.

But there's something else there too, mama.

And when we understand that matrescence is the massive transformation of Who We Think We Are, it begins to make sense that our struggles with receiving help is a lot deeper than we think.

You can find out more about matrescence, and take the first steps to understanding how you are transforming as a woman, in my short course – The Birth of You.
